Real Time Four Way Traffic Light Control System Using LaVIEW and NI 6008.

Objective:

• Simulate the traffic light control system using LabVIEW software.
• Implement the real time traffic light control system using NI6008.

The front panel should look like the fig. shown below

The Green light of each direction should glow for 10Sec.

The Orange light should glow for 4Sec..

And the Red light should glow for 6Sec.

Before each Green signal and Red signal there should be Orange signal.

The pass direction should be in clockwise way starting from NORTH direction.

Apparatus Required:

PC with labVIEW software installed.

Traffic light system board.

NI 6008 DAQ

Procedure:

First simulate the traffic light system in the software using “Sequence Structure”. If it is simulated perfectly as per the above objective, interface the DAQ. Use all the 12 Digital channels of the DAQ for the 12 LEDs with a common ground.
